Hey there y’all and welcome back to Warm Beer, Cold Coffee and another Crafting Corner! I am so excited to share another round of the Fundraising Auction for Breast Cancer with you. For those that might be new here, but mom battled and defeated aggressive stage 3 breast cancer. She is why I feel so passionately about raising money to assist in cancer research. I never want anyone to go through what my mom went through or experience cancer as a helpless bystander like I was. To read more about my mom’s story and the amazing woman that she is, click here!
This is the third round of auctioning I have done, and so far we have raised around $400. To see the previous rounds click here and here. I think this round is going to be fabulous though because I LOVE the macramé’s I made to auction off. The thing I love most about this auction is that I get to use my crafting/DIY side, but all for a good cause. This is because all money raised from the auction goes directly to the CIBC Race for the Cure. Now, let’s move on to the macramé’s up for auction!
The rules are simple: comment on the post on Instagram or Facebook with which piece you would like to purchase and the price you would like to bid. There is a $20 minimum bid requirement plus a $15 shipping fee (unless you are local to Calgary, then I can just drop it off to you). Bidding starts Thursday morning at 9am MT and ends Friday night at 11:59pm MT. Remember it’s an auction, so people can out bid you. So make sure you are checking back regularly to up your bid if necessary.
And if bidding on a macramé isn’t for you, but you still wanna give back… don’t fret! You can donate directly to the race right here. Make sure to share this auction with all your friends and family. The more the merrier!
The race is virtual this year and meant to be run on Sunday, October 3rd. I will be running that day, and I’d love for you to join me no matter where you are at in the world! 🙂
Let’s keep on raising money so we can hope for a better future for us all! Happy day y’all!
