Crafting Corner: Fundraising Auction for Breast Cancer

Morning y’all and welcome! It’s time for another fundraising auction for breast cancer! I held one of these auctions a month ago and we raised about $300, which all goes directly to the CIBC Race for the Cure. To read more about last month’s auction, click here.

As many of you know, my mom battled and defeated aggressive stage 3 breast cancer (more on her story here). It was a horrible experience for her and her loved ones, which is why I feel so passionate about supporting research for breast cancer. I hope that one day there is a cure so that others never have to experience the dreaded C-word. I thank you in advance for reading this post and helping support this cause in any way you can.

Now as for the weavings… This month I am auctioning off three different weavings that are all hanging from copper pipe.

I will post these three weavings on Instagram and Facebook starting Thursday morning at 9am (MT). The auction closes at 11:59pm (MT) on Friday night. During that time, you may bid as much as you want (plus a $10 shipping fee) with all proceeds going to CIBC Race for the Cure. So for example, say you want to bid $60 on the pineapple weaving. You would comment either on Facebook or Instagram with something like, “Weaving #2, $60”. Then if you are the highest bidder, I will contact you on Saturday to gather all the shipping information and you would then send me $70 ($10 for shipping and $60 for the race). It’s that simple!

And if you are still curious about a way to donate and bidding on a weaving is not for you, don’t worry! I gotcha covered! Just click here and follow the prompts. Other ways you can show support is by sharing this with all your friends and family as well as joining me for the (virtual) race on October 3rd. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. I am happy to help (or just chat) in any way I can!

As always, thank you so much for reading and have a happy day y’all!
