Hey there y’all! Happy Monday! I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I sure did because I got to celebrate 31 years around the sun with my baby and baby daddy. I also got a surprise visit from my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. They brought over cupcakes and we played Dutch Blitz, which is a “vonderful goot game”! We had a pretty wet snowfall over the weekend, but this week is shaping up to be a nice one. YAY! Now to your regularly scheduled On the Menu Monday post. 🙂
Weekly Meal Plan Menu (17)
Because the weather is looking so nice this week, Keenan is going to grill steak for Saturday and chicken for tacos on Wednesday. I’ve mentioned this before, but I absolutely love when Keenan grills. He bought a new grill recently as a treat to himself for finishing his carpenters apprenticeship, and it is DOPE!
We have really enjoyed making homemade pizzas the past few weeks, so we are doin’ it again this week. We add prosciutto, mozzarella cheese, blue cheese, green pepper, green onion and tomato to them and mmm mmhmm are they tasty!
I’m also going to make my mom’s spaghetti because, like the silly person I am, I forgot to make it for our birthday’s this year! Ever since I can remember I have had my mom’s spaghetti as my birthday dinner so a week late will have to do. I love this meal because of the nostalgia that comes along with it, it’s super yummy and it’s great for leftovers.
Another meal that is great for leftovers is the shepherds pie from *It All Begins with Food. We make this meal regularly because it’s relatively easy to make and super delicious. Andee also likes it too, so it’s a nice family meal to have.
