Helllllooooooo and welcome back to Warm Beer, Cold Coffee for another On the Menu Monday. It’s been a hot minute – okay, like two or three weeks – since I last posted one of these. But if you would have seen all that was going on in our life in the last month, you’d cut me some slack. 😜 Or maybe you’re not even judging me and I need to cut my own damn self some slack. Lol! Anyway, I’m glad you are here. Now let’s dive into it!
Weekly Meal Plan Menu (32)
Tonight Keenan is making his signature chili. I’m not sure what he does to make it so extra and yummy, but I am here for it. It’s great for left overs, so I will be munchin’ on it all week. And Andee probably will too… as long as I feel like cleaning her up after she gets all messy and junk.
On Tuesday we are having chicken and raspberry salad, which has been a staple for us this summer. And of course, as I am typing this, I realized that I didn’t pick up any chicken from the grocery store. Lol! I’m tellin’ y’all, we’ve been stretched super thin lately! But if this is the only thing I drop the ball on, then I’ll take it.
Wednesday we are keeping it super simple and having grilled cheese and tomato soup. Keenan always makes this meal for us because I am known to burn the grilled cheese. Don’t ask me why, it’s just something I haven’t mastered yet.
Then on Thursday, we are having company arrive from out of town for a wedding this weekend. So Keenan’s gonna grill up some pork chops and I am going to make a warm potato salad and a caesar salad.
Friday and Saturday we will be doing wedding things. And I figure that we will be beat by Sunday, so we’ve already decided to order take out.
